My OBE story

So I ended up having to get a lamage done about two weeks ago in the emergency room, and after that was finished I had an interesting experience which I'd like to share.

Right after they finished washing me off and I got my scrubs back on, laid back down I was exhausted. All the nurses left the room and this great...very deep peace came and just washed over my soul. I just laid there, feeling it. I have felt peace before, but nothing like this; it was felt not only in my mind and my heart/emotions but it covered every inch of my body and seemed to extend inwards deep into the core of my inner being. I heard the devil laughing audibly, as if he was saying "hahahaha you think you saved her, think again" it didn't scare me, I was still floating blissfully in deep peace.

From when the peace feeling started I knew this was an OBE, or some type of spiritual experience so I tried to rember everything.

Shortly after I heard the devils laughter, I was feeling great, more relaxed than ever in my life, and I started hearing crickets, and a river just flowing. I couldn't see it, but I got the feeling that this beautiful sound was God! It was extremely beautiful, a song from God....I was just listening and I said out loud "oh....my....God" the nurse goes "what?" My reply? ".....God" lol

something changed drastically in my essence (inner being/soul) and had affect on my outward personality too. I've been a mute most of my life, and it takes a lot of nergy for me to hold a conversation. Well suddenly I'm chatting up the nurse, making her smile and laugh and I was laughing too which she had to ask one time what I was laughing about. I explained to her about being a mute that I rarely talk, so it was just funny to me that I'm chatting to her so freely.

I thought to myself, "this is who God wants me to be, this is the image he created for me" and I smiled. I liked this side of myself. A lot.

Alcyone, wonderful, or wonder-filled, story. Thank you for sharing that. I could add some comment but having had many OBE’s myself I know how special those type of experiences can be; they are very personal, impactful, and life changing. It is an experience that you will carry in your heart the rest of your days on earth.

I also worked in the medical field and have experienced patients, especially terminally ill patients, leaving their body just as the body ceased its' vital functions. That can also be a powerful experience; its' like an indisputable peaceful subtle energy surrounding the patient, elevating, and then dissipating.

I first started experiencing that when I was a U.S. Army combat medic doing trauma care during the Vietnam War. I also later experienced it as a civilian ambulance EMT, and also later while working in a hospital. An then having my own OBE, it confirmed a great deal to me. Mainly, life definitely continues after the human body dies.

What a cheerful recollection. I was in the back seat of a car, my hubby and father in law were in the front seats about 10 years ago. The men were chatting while my hubby drove. Suddenly I felt this incredible wave of love wash over me. It flooded over me for about 5 or 8 minutes. It was so very profound. Thanks for reminding me of that. I really feel far away from my Source right now.
