Changing the inner narrative.
Is there ways to change the mental narrative in order to heal the mind and body?

I would say yes. Though it takes a very long time. Those old mental tapes don't want to die.
Surround yourself with positive everything.
Learn to accept yourself for who you are right now.
Admit and make peace with the fact that you are not perfect and never will be.
Learn not to beat yourself up when you do mess up. Just tell yourself you messed up, you learned from the mistake and try again. You may mess up again, but you will get it right eventually.
Set healthy boundaries and don't let anyone disrespect you. Ever!
And hug yourself.

Oh for sure, but it takes a certain level of awareness.
We have what is called automatic thinking which comes from the subconcious mind.
Changing the concious narrative is difficult as it is.
A good way to do this is always challange the negative things you say to yourself about yourself. And if you are mindful of what you are saying to yourself the subconcious thoughts will slow down and you can challenge them as well. Another thing that helps is to journal about your positive thoughts toward yorself and things you are greatful for. It takes time, but it is so worth the effort.
