@ Iomax, same here. Both sunset and sunrise allow me to receive high vibrational energies from 'Up There'. When I said direct sunlight hinders the experience of tuyia, I meant when the sun is high in the sky -- at least one hour, maybe two from sunrise and sunset.

@ Legrand. I'm not sure I get what you mean but the hindering does not just come from sunlight on the head and I don't do chakra meditation. The energy just makes me dive within, sometimes like a feather, sometimes like a rock but always in the same direction: turyia.

Hello SilentDrum,

I did mention when the body is exposed to the sun, not just the head.

The first sentence those talk about chakra. But not the second:

“The sun those hides the void in the night sky, but a blue sky is also beautiful.”

The black sky in this image is Turiya.

The blue sky is your flesh touched by the sun.

And yes, sunrise and sunset are two magical moments.

Regards

I enjoy reading your posts very much , and just added you to my buddy list. You are the first person whom I've added to the Buddy List so I'm not sure exactly what that does.

Haw thank you,

Let me know if you find out. I really do not know what it does to put someone on the Buddy or Ignore list.

It's the internet forum equivalent of Observer and Observed. LOL!

The ignore list is just fingers in the ear and singing a tune of "La, la, la, I can't hear you!". LOLOL!

I love the occasional silliness.

When you meditate when you're still normally awake you move from Beta brainwaves (the normal waking day state) to Alpha (slower more coherent brainwaves) and you can get into Theta (paradise for meditation!) When things can happen, your brain takes over and you're no longer influenced by the body. You got to understand that in essence our bodies function as our egos and subconscious mind so they hinder us from getting to that free place of deep meditation where wonderful things and healing can occur. So you have to get out of that so the body no longer interferes, BUT the mind is still working!!
That it was happens when you meditate during the day.

When you meditate in bed you get the following: You move straight into Delta.
Delta is when both the body AND mind fall asleep and become inactive.
It's a restorative phase.
No juicy nothing can happen if you meditate then. It won't bring you anything.

So it's best to meditate during the day or evening.
I have experienced this to be true myself, but like I said, I never knew why. Now I do.
Hope it can help you!

The one thing I absolutely detest in spiritual practices is the comment that you have to do a certain practice a certain way or else it does not work. I have always meditated in bed before I get out of bed for the simple fact that when I get out of bed I tend to be active. I have the most energy when I get out of bed due to Lupus. Setting the intention for the day before I 'walk into the world', is extremely beneficial to MY wellbeing. In the evening when I am IN bed, I do a relaxation hypnosis made by my therapist. Also extremely beneficial to MY wellbeing.

Thank you FairyCrystal. So many times I try to ask questions while in bed, and can't feel anything, so I learned I had to sit up to get any answers. Your explanation makes sense!
