Problem with their faces

I can see clearly several bodies including the faces of some people in my past life but there are two that especially the face I can't remember, that is strangely "wiped out" of just as I am about to get close it stops, ends. One is a child I had that I think I loved very much but the pregnancy was inconvenient to say the least as it was in those days as I had this child out of wedlock. I think it is the biological father of the child that I too had much trouble seeing the face. In that life I had moved on with life and was happily married and it was this man that acted as the father of the child even if it was not his biologically. I have never had any problem seeing his face.

I recently watched an old program on Oprah where a woman was on that suffered from schizophrenia and had 92 personalities. She revealed that her mind had protected her so that she could never see the face of the stepfather that had done the horrible things to her and was believed to have caused the schizophrenia to begin with.

Could it be the same thing when it comes to some past life faces, that it reveals a pain I am not ready to face?
How is it for you? Am I the only one with this problem? Please, tell

I don't know the answer to your original question but I feel I should point out that schizophrenia is not the same as dissociative identity disorder (formerly called multiple personality disorder), although some people confuse the two.

Dissociative identity disorder can be caused by childhood trauma/abuse, whereby identity fragments into different personality states and experiences. This seems to be a protective mechanism. Such separate personalities tend to have their own names, voices and characteristics, and will come to the fore at different times, and may be completely unaware of the other personalities. This can create some unusual phenomena - for example, one personality has allergies and will physically react to certain foods, while another personality does not.

In these matters, all depends on your beliefs.

If you see clearly the faces of the others, you could just ask to see the faces that are "wiped out".

You might have some hidden fears or resentments that prevent you from seeing those. Seeing them might be therapeutic for you, or overwhelming, depending on how strong you are.

If you regress yourself without the help of a hypnotist, and if you believe strongly in the "reality" of those regressions (you seem you do), you have to be careful, to know your limits.

Thank you very much for your wise answer. I never tried that, will do :) yes, what has been most difficult with that past life is the high level of emotions in it. I think perhaps the reason or at least part of the reason why I could also have trouble seeing the child's face is because she knew she was leaving this child behind when dying young herself.

In an effort to try to calm my nerves about this I researched and found that the child was continuously being taken cared of and things turned out alright, so that's good :)
