Put yourself in the place of the petitioner. Who would bring the sacrifice to the priests, where it's blood would be shed, instead of the sinner.
Who would leave knowing that because they obeyed God's command, their sins were paid for, they were forgiven and had peace with God Almighty.

Leviticus 17:11
"The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the alter to make atonement for your souls.
For it is the blood which makes atonement for the soul."

The above is about conscience, relief of guilt, and peace.
Today, there is a whole discipline of psychiatry dedicated to relief of guilt, and conscience.

The above situation of atonement is the sure foundation, upon which He Himself wrought salvation for the whole world, for all who would believe.
Who went to the cross for us, as the atoning Lamb.
As long prophesied in the old testament.

"He careth for you." 1 Peter 5:7

In the early story of the Bible, animal sacrifice atoned for man's sins. Though it was the sinner who deserved to be removed from the world, an animal would take their place. The animal's blood would then be sprinkled by priest in a symbolic cleansing of evil's indirect consequences throughout the community. This process was called purification, and it was able to make things right between the Israelites and God.

These Old Testament sacrifices fell short of atoning for man's sins. Speaking on this problem, Isaiah talked of a king who would come as a servant and die on behalf of the Israelites, giving his life to atone for their sins. The king that Isaiah prophesied about was Jesus.


Animal sacrifices are barbaric and have no place in attonement for ' Sin ', they actually cause more ' Sin '.

Can you name 1 century when the Jews of the Old Testament had peace?

After discovering hard evidences that the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem really took place ( this is the time that the prophet Daniel appeared ), it's fair to assume that their history, that is found in the Bible, actually happened and it's not just an invention, if this is true, why not Exodus would be true? Remember, it happened now 2500 years and it was not changed, the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem really took place.

true! we are responsible for our wicked actions. this is why if we don't change from our wicked ways ,(Psa. 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil, he preserve the souls of his saints, he deliverer them out of the hand of the wicked). see also (Ezek. 33:11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. those he was speaking at that time was his chosen people. but it applies to us today as well. he by means of Jesus will do away with any of us who refuse to change, just like in Noah's day ,(Luke 17:26,27 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all).

humans been on earth for about 200,000 years. how long do we have to wait before WE!.. get it right? maybe we need some "magic trick" to help get us started! we're imperfect sinful, selfish humans. we own our could NEVER get it right! do you think we get up every morning because we can? NO, we get up because Jehovah God keep his breath of life in us ,(Acts 17:25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things).

I'm so thankful that Jehovah God hasn't made a move yet. because I'm still working on myself, he's giving us ALL a chance to do so. since he really don't want to destroy ANYONE ,(2Pet. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us. not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance). instead of wanted to rush the End. we better feel bless to be given some time. peace
