I really find it difficult to understand people who have this great relationship with God without Christ. Or people who are happy with the God that they are. My experience is that without Christ God is very dark and nasty.

Likewise my own self turns dark and starts to struggle without Christ.

Indeed, man cannot carve his own way to God... where is He going to start from? And so we have all these religions and belief systems, practices that "try" to link us to something beyond ourselves in one of the lofty spiritual planes; these so called deities we see to day that can be appeased by a bit of foodstuff from the kitchen cabinet.

After a couple of years of yoga, I realised I could not forge my own way to God, neither could any spirit or human. If a spirit could forge this way, I would have forged my own way... after all I have a spirit moving about the Spiritual worlds. And if a human could find God, I'm human and could find God. It dawned that I was just wasting my time with yoga and all the related philosophies to find God. We need God to come Himself and deal with this mess, and He came, and this is Christ.

Christ offers a personal relationship that you would not find in another belief system, His words are full of wisdom, faith, love and understanding, He says, come as you are, broken, lonely, sad or lost, and He will heal you.Think about it, all the people that He healed, they all came as they were, only faith is needed, you can't go to someone if you don't believe in that person.He didn't go to the rich, He came for the poor, He didn't go to the healthy, He came for the sick, this is Christ, this is His nature, we see it in all gospels, He offers a personal relationship that you would not find anywhere.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

This is so so beautiful, He and the Father will come and live within all those that are following His teachings.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he with me.

You see, I can go on and on, this is Christ and this is His message of great love.
