Question Is it important to know who and/or what you are?

I met a stranger a week ago and the conversation was positive and electric and moved quickly through native beliefs and spirituality. It was all warm and friendly and bright.

We shook hands and I saw an image of my twin flame and then we hugged and the person blocked me and abruptly left. I wanted to ask if he knew who I was.

Do I need to know who I am?

I know bits and piece. I have seen images from WWII. I know I can feel others emotions and they can see and feel mine, if I do not keep them under wraps. Sometimes I see images when I meet people. I have a friendly affect on animals lately, they hug me and jump into my hands and let me pet and talk to them. I know my mission is to walk a positive walk and shine light. Pretty simple.

In the beginning I desperately wanted to know who I was or what I was. But that became a power struggle with my twin flame. But now I feel the labels just bog me down from who I am and what I need to do. Perhaps his is just my naivety and lack of understanding and knowledge.

So many of you have experienced so much more and have so much knowledge.

What do you all think or feel?

As far as I know, we are neither of our past lives. Each one of incarnated as both sexes, all around the globe, various personalities, levels of intelligence, social positions, etc..

We are constantly changing so in my view it is not important to know about who we was before, or even from past lifes, why? Because what has been we can not change. But what we are right now we can change. Example if you know you have a negative side that you dislike, start ask you self question, why you dont like it, does it affect others, how can i change, will my change be good or bad for me?

Live in the moment and be the best you can be right now, and dont worry about the past or future :)

In my present day moment, does not having a label, like walk-in, reincarnated angle, light worker, Wiccan, Christian, Buddhist, empath, healer, put me in danger?

I get the feeling I am having so many uniques people suddenly enter my life that I could be hurt. But, my guides and the universe keep spurring me on.

First of all ask why are you are asking? Then what would those answers achieve for you? To be honest we evolve, therefore it's an ongoing process as we learn about the Self.

You don't need to 'define' yourself because I think that's what you mean???

Evolving makes sense. Thank you! I guess seeing all of the labels everyone uses on the forum to discuss, I only have events. I try hard to apply a label to gain understanding. I do not know where I fit in here. But, I understand that it does not matter. I think it is time to ask less questions and read more and keep evolving.

Thank you!

Labels are useful for communication but little else, and when they become the framework or the lens that people peer through then it starts to go askew. Labels are also definitions, and we either create our own definitions or adopt the definitions of others, fairly soon those definitions become our reality. If you don't know where you fit in, what is it that you don't know? Do you not know 'you', do you not know what 'here' is or both?

'Evolving', 'unfolding'.... What's the difference other than your own definitions and how you choose to perceive those definitions? By all means read until your eyes pop out, read all about how we are this and not that and conversely we are that but not this.

You are the answer looking for the question on the Journey to Self, so the question is "What is the question?"

Sit yourself down quietly, take a good four-breath and relax completely, then ask yourself one simple question. "If I had never existed, how different would the Universe be?" It's in that space that much will become a lot clearer for you.

Often the twin flame concept becomes a little fanciful, to be honest. It's often nice to think we have one, like a friend you think of as family but then often it's our twin flames that have come to teach us our greatest lessons. I doubt there's a power struggle between you and your twin flame, it's more likely that they are their to help you answer just this question. You see, everything in this thread is a reflection/expression of who and what you are.
