Gettysburg, Pa

We are on vacation this week doing day trips and man has it been hot!

One of the days, we were at Gettysburg and once again, we had camera malfunctions. This time, my iphone took pics that were half negative and half color. Every time we take pics there, something always happens to our cameras. Once the film was completely blank and another time the memory card ejected itself and was gone. If you are interested in finding ghosts, it is definitely the place to go!

I loved the time I spent in Gettysburg doing the ghost story thing and visiting battlefields and the town. I found nothing on the pictures I took but I woke up early one morning hearing cannon fire and something ghostly tucked the blankets in behind me when I was trying to go back to sleep.

I've heard a lot of things like that happening in Gettysburg. Though one person "Asked permission" to photograph them and then everything went fine. Maybe try asking :)

ML- it seems like it happens all the time.

We intended to stay for a ghost walk, or ar at least go back ouselves to the battlefields in the evening but the heat just was too much. There is always a "buzz" constantly around, in my opinion, but at night when there are not as many people around, the air gets completely different.

It's 102 here in VA today and with the heat index 117. I'd stay in if I were you too :)

Oy! I think the index here is supposed to be 110. I think i will just climb in the fridge, lol

I visited Gettysburg just before it opened for the season. There was hardly anyone on the battlegrounds, a bit eerie. It was like I could feel, sense something but not sure. My camera worked fine. And walking thru the museum, I realized how much I didn't know about the Civil War never did like history classes in school.
