In general taking probiotics - or, better: kefir! - would be a good idea for you. Kefir has many more different strains of probiotics than any tablet. Milk kefir has got most, but water kefir is also good. If you want some water kefir grains, I can send you some. How to make it, look on the internet!

This is so interesting, I started this thread ages ago because I had a terrible sinus infection and cold and I now have another sinus infection and I am DESPERATE. I have tried everything I can think of now. The sinus congestion is there all the time and it flares up into a full infection every few weeks.

I am taking big doses of garlic with oregano oil and peppermint oil and other bits in it. Nothing is helping at the moment.

You might want to check out "Yogic Cure For Common Diseases" by Dr. Phulgenda Sinha. There's an entire section on "Sinus and Headache" as well as "Asthma".

P.S. I don't have sinus problems so I've never really used that part of the book. However, I have had friends over 40 years old who were able to get rid of their diabetes with the steps recommended in the book.

I didn't notice anybody mentioning Vitamin C. At some point several years ago, I started taking almost mega-doses of it on a continuous basis - almost every day and for years have had hardly any colds - at least not as bad as a lot of my co-workers and friends did. So that made me realize just how good it is for upper respiratory things. I'd say start taking vitamin C every day - experiment a little bit with how much because I learned that it can cause unwanted changes in bowel movements (I know - tmi xd). Once you know your own personal limit, taking it regularly can help your situation.

There's a crystalline version of Vitamin C that you can put in drinks. I use those long packets of different flavors - try searching for brands with healthy ingredients (I go to vitacost.com). I just bought a bunch of them.

Hi there

I do take large doses of Vitamin C every day. I also take a mix of other vitamins.
