Healing animals

Hi all!

I was just wondering about how you would go about healing an animal if it was under the weather? Is it the same principle as for a human? I have learnt a healing technique which involves concentrating on each of the seven main chakras on the human body - but obviously I don't know exactly whereabouts these would correspond in animals?

It's just that I'd like to be able to help my dog when he's feeling a bit under the weather (obviously it's no substitute for the vets, but an added extra) but I'm not sure how to go about it!

Would the hands on approach be better? (If I can get him to keep still for long enough...

).

Hi Jaycee,

These are my thoughts on this: As far as I can remember, cats and dogs actually only have two chakras in contrast to the human being's seven main chakras. These chakras are the Root Chakra and the Sacral Chakra. That kind of makes sense to me.

Also, the hands-on approach would be ideal in my opinion and you could also try absent healing. You may need to do that more with a cat than a dog though as cats are far more harder to keep still than dogs. It might be worth your while to do some research about healing animals on the internet too. I will have a look for some sites for you.

just the same for animals imo, re spiritual healing anyway, and they do respond exceptionally well to it. hands on is good but always be wary of animals in pain they may not like being touched initially, once they are aware that you're trying to help them i'm sure they'd relax

I had to laugh about there only being the root & sacral chakra - I've certainly seen many displays of behaviour relating to these over the months....

Edited to add: From my dog, that is! LOL!

Hi Jaycee, I have found a website which is chock-ful of information on animal healing but this site says there are SEVEN chakras to each animal, not two. Conflicting information. Either way Jaycee, it's perfectly acceptable to heal animals in the way you have suggested so you may as well try it.

you can heal animals the same way you heal people .animals are far more open to healing as they except it without question .and when you stop to think about it they are just people in a different form . i have given healing to many animals in my time and i know who i would rather work with everytime
