How to know if it's real? Is death the end for person?

Hello

Few years ago, I had a heart attack and during this event my heart stopped. I didn't realize what happened but when I opened my eyes as I woke up I was in the hospital. My last memory before hospital is being in my home bathroom.
I am afraid to die now, as I can die anytime soon and don't want to have nothing to experience.

I saw multiple posts here saying beliefs are just beliefs and everyone has different belief and different experience, they say different things and speculating but nobody sure that the experience was real. Can we be sure that death is end like it could be in my case? Can we be sure that death not the end?

How do you know that what you experience like seeing spirits, communicating with them, having glimpses of afterlife are real and not brain chemicals and reactions cocktail? Do you have proof, evidence? Can you be sure that experience is true?

Good questions. In short, no. I can never be sure what experiences are true or imaginative. And i distrust anyone who claims to be so sure that such experiences are real.

A few lines on fear, penned down once elsewhere on SF:

Fear

Not the type of fear ...
There are several
But fear itself
The contraction of consciousness
The source, the transmission
Of the contracting thought
And the element within us
Allowing its reception
Reception being admission
Upon which we dwell
Dwelling being attachment
Negative attachment
Yet attachment
Which nurtures fear
Even when there is no need

So, related to fear, we have ...
Source of transmission
Element of reception
& attachment allowing its magnification

The source is
So transmission is
Beyond our control

The element of reception
Maybe necessary
For self preservation
Or imaginary
A borrowed delusional idea
Of clinging to ...
Trying to make permanent
The impermanent
A foolishness beyond measure
We are best rid off
Here & now

Fear reduces
To fears necessary
For self preservation
Devoid of desires perishable
Devoid of attachments ephemeral

And so
The fears that remain
Watching them
As friends
Who forewarn
The warning is welcome
Accepted
Acted upon
Nonchalantly
As a necessity
Without consciousness contraction

End of fear

Most don't remember being conscious when they go to bed and fall asleep each night until they awake each morning.

The fact is that what you are doesn't sleep, you are forever conscious in these instances.

Not remembering is not the same as not being aware of experiencing so rest assure.
