I saw a policeman holding hands with another policeman after hours in blue overalls at the park. they did not see me, and they opened a left over pizza box from next to a picnic table, pulled out what appeared to be orange frosted doughnuts, licked the frosting off carefully, gauging their environment to see if any other attractive gentlemen of the moonlit occasion were nearby, and discarded the leftover bread in ways I will never speak of. They sauntered joyfully off into the night, heading for the city that never sleeps. Philadelphia

I don't like cooking much these days, even though I am quite good at it. I do salads most days, summer and winter. I like the meals prepared and eaten within about 45 minutes.

Last night we had bbq chicken wings, my summer squash casserole and air fried potatoes.

Tonight will be marinated pot roast (it's been marinating since yesterday), summer squash fritters with garlic sauce drizzled over the top and a green salad.

Can you tell I need to get some summer squash used up before it goes bad?

Sometimes food at our house is just a sustainer. That was what it was today. It was a chew, chew, swallow meal. Oh well,... it is good for the budget. (Shrug)

I had a large serving of salad (tons of greens). Olive oil sauteed with chicken..... I used curry as a seasoning & beef broth ( among other spices). wow, a knock out Ill have to use Curry more often! Not an ingredient I have used before for home cooking

I am starting the New Year trying to eat more healthy...My biggest goal is less carbs/refined sugars/white flour type foods . I hope to add more fish & veggies. Happy New year, foodies

Well, my partner is sick. So maybe a spicy green chili with ground turkey tomorrow to scare away the germies. Perhaps I will sprinkle in some curry? It will be a crock pot day. Then a pie pan of exploding yogurt cornbread!

So happy today! Peppermint tea and elder berry gummies arrived in the mail! Yay! Just in time for flu season.

Anala, I might suggest you use hydrogen peroxide in the ears once every hour all day long. It's probably to late to avoid the flu, but you can shorten its duration.

It will be cold and very uncomfortable the first few applications.

What the heck is exploding yogurt cornbread?
