Interesting story, Stephen. Similar to Tobi and LPC.

Animals alive after death. To be alive after death means they have a soul as we do. Is it just these animals? No how could it be? It's all animals. ALL.
A revelation with the most profound implications.

The unity of all life, something reported again and again and again in NDE accounts, and by disincarnate spiritual teachers like Silver Birch and White Eagle etc.

Indeed, but then wouldn't an animal having a soul not also be able to choose the life that it's entering into much the way a human would? Would an animal not also be choosing one of challenge at times, while at other times choose one of comparable luxury, as our dogs had chosen with us this time around?

Or is this something only we humans can do? Is an animal simply a victim of random occurrence? Is there a difference in the depth and quality of each? You open more questions than you resolve with this observation....

hello :)

What beautiful experiences to read.

Ive had too many to share on this post, so I will share just one and I must say meeting my passed on loved one's in astral are absolute treasures.

Besides meeting them, Ive had one or two experiences while fully awake that have given me a "knowing" that after death, life and their energies continue on and if Im wanting it and open to it, our communication with each other is indeed an event - far from just my imagination.

Wow...which one do i write about LoL

Not long after my husband passed, I met him on the astral many times. He used to show me various places where he hung out with other passed on relatives, and "friends" I never knew but he did.

I remember going to visit him one time ( first time, as he usually came to me it seemed ), and i had to wait in the reception area, there was no receptionist as such, but somehow my arrival was known and it was just a "thought" in my head at the time of me saying I was there to see him. The building was HUGE, and although inside this reception room at the time, I was able to see the size of the place, on the outside. There were rooms upon rooms and I couldnt see where it ended as such. Within a very short time ( seconds ) he came to greet me and he showed me different rooms - where choirs sung, meditation rooms, and there seemed to be rooms for "families" as such which seemed to be down endless hallways. He explained to me that - in "God's" house - space was unlimited - duh me! I suppose so eh? LoL

In linear time - the visit seemed short - but it "felt" like a good amount of time and I felt satisfied with the length of time Id spent there, leaving wasn't an issue and I knew I could go back again if I needed to.

My most memorable "feeling" in this visit was being able to hug him like I would have in the physical, and coming back to body and still "feeling" the hug. When I woke up, the sensation was still there :)

As said, Ive had many of them, with my parents, grandmother and an aunt - my dog's and a cat who lived for many years. - Living people as well - who I had not yet met in real life - but soon did a week later.

I love that we are able to do this.....somehow it makes everything ok....and easier to deal with the emotions and grief.

Thankyou for this thread, its nice to share :)

The bundle of energy that I called mum, dad, or whatever has gone, its gone back where it came from, never to be again. There are memories that are hold onto by the mind via the heart, this powerful force of the mind is what keeps the story going, it will not let it go, it will weave the story into all we are, until our own bundle of energy has passed.

Loveyduck, you are very blessed to have had such experiences. Knowing they do not "die" but just "transition" to another way of being, does indeed help us to cope with them leaving the physical world, and no longer appearing to be with us. But actually meeting with them again -that is a really wonderful experience.

Psychoslice....yes, I would always have said the same. Right up until July 6th 2012. When their bundle of energy goes, it doesn't go never to be again....it continues What they "were" or appeared to be when they lived in the physical world, and we knew them in that way, is only one facet of what they are and have been, and will be. "Mum" or "Dad" is a continuum of consciousness. They live in our hearts and minds, sure, but they also live. There is no Death.

Yes you are right, there is no death, but also no one is born, so who is the one you are seeing, its just the memory of the the story you were part of, a beautiful memory, but still a memory.

Are we not all just memories intertwined in the collective consciousness? Beautiful and everlasting swimming in the sea of memory diving down and resurfacing... and each and every day new memories gets born.

Yes this is true, but when the mind body organism is no more, the story is finished, that is of the mind body organism story. There is just energy left, just like the radio waves that are still traveling through space, if you lived on another planet you could hear what was said back when the first radio signals left the earth. But these signals are not relative any longer, there just waves of energy that has served their purpose. This is the same with the mind body organism, when it is finished their is a sort of energy wave that still travels, but the person who we knew is not that any longer. So seeing the energy of the love one is nice, it can help many, but don't cling to what you see, let it go.

Yes but is that not just a story within a story. Chapters within a greater story. Those meetings with pets creates a memory equal to the memories created when it was still in what you call the mind-body organism story, so if it is equally real then why not consider it equally as real? the only difference I can notice is the form in which it exist not whether it exist or not...
