Hi sister! That's my "avatar," yes. One of them. You are sweet and kind. Blessings.

May I?

I have much practice in this since the 70s.
Practice.

Sit in a comfortable chair breathing a bit, consciously, to calm and get centered with very little thinking, you know?
In this place you neither love or don't love yourself - you're just relaxed.
Pretty simple.

Ask your self - what do I do when I love someone?
If it is a child, a puppy and woman or man or elder parent..

First we make that loved one comfortable.
We bring them a blanket.
Ask if they want a drink; may I take your dish for you? More wine?
If there is a tense situation we may defend or deflect barbs from someone
aimed at our doggie or girlfriend...that we love so.

All in the name of taking care of and making them comfortable.

As you sit in your chair ---how would you love yourself?
I'll tell you: you would relax some muscles that were subty a little tight.
You would sink a bit more into the chair, breath a little sweeter, appreciating all you were taking in around you ---you would appreciate and relax.

How would you deeply love yourself --also think of your child, puppy, loved one ---I'll tell you: you would want them to feel cozy, relaxed, warm and safe.

Now practice - pretend you are loving yourself.

You will sit differently
You will walk differently.
You will enter a crowded room differently --
Why? because you are practicing loving yourself and now you feel comfortable
in your own skin, in who you are and you are feeling a deep confidance in this.
It feels "right".

Now you feel a comradery with the others that felt comfortable in there own skin and exuded this ease and love of who
they were - from Elizabeth Taylor to George Clooney to any other confidant person you've ever known that had a sense of charisma and poise.

If you are standing in a line and your back hurt - what would you do if it was your mother? You'd get a chair for her from somewhere -do the same for yourself.

What would you do if your sister was getting all upset in traffic?
You'd calm her down with a joke....do the same for yourself.

What would you do if your bestfriend kept making himself miserable complaining over
and over about his job....you'd hug him and bounce solutions to him.
Do the same for yourself....see the pattern?

Now practice this 'loving yourself' every minute for 2 days - as you walk, as you sit - as you eat -
its very sexy.
Now, notice the power and poise you exude and all that are attracted to you.

And all just by loving "Your Self".

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

It's so hot, Simon.
Right there where you are to ask yourself -how could I love myself right now?
And it is always the same - breathing easier and nestling into your body or your seat -
just like loving your lover - easy and comfy, you know?
Or with your big Golden Retreiver or holding your needy aging parent.
It's being happy and easy in your own beng - your own "skin".
It's yummy.
Feeling comfortable to pause and breathe before you answer a question - it's being "cool", aka confident.
Ahh, I love loving myself.
