Self Hypnosis

I have been told by multiple people that self hypnosis is dangerous and not good for you. Is that true?

With hypnosis, one should check their belief systems occasionally to see if some of their beliefs have been altered and might be opposite of what they truly believe was their belief system.

For example, if a person honestly believes they are infallible, they might want to examine how that belief got implanted into their belief system.

At times of war, some who do not believe in killing other people might have their belief system altered without knowing that it changed and participate in killing others thinking it is a good thing.

If you can zone out, if you can daydream, if you are driving on the highway and miss your exit - you are putting yourself into a light hypnotic state. Most people do it all the time without realizing it.
