I can relate to that...I was also told to stay away from any psychic abilities....but how can you stay away from who you are? I, too prayed to God that if it was really evil to remove it from me.... but you see for "standard religion" everything that doesn't fit in the box, everything that is not understandable by the book of that denomination is named "evil or of the devil"....for them "yoga is evil, the ying and yang symbol is evil, terms used by other religions in their native tongue is evil (in fact if they would just check what these terms mean they would find out that many in Christianity have the same practices, it is just called differently), etc....I believe God has answered you, just as He answered me years ago by not removing anything, and by bringing answers from diverse sources....
I believe that God has answered you also when you found this forum...
