Astral projection?

Hi All..
About a month ago I was in bed, on my stomach and still awake when suddenly I felt myself being pulled up by my right arm. As I was getting pulled up I could see around my bedroom, I saw my wife sleeping right beside me and then I saw that my body was still lying on the bed. I felt no fear whatsoever. Infact it felt amazing. As I was getting pulled out I was also trying to push myself out also because I really wanted to experience what I was feeling even more. BUt I was continually being pulled back by my body. This tugging continued for what seemed less than a minute.
Finally my body pulled me back in. I was still conscious of what was going on so I tried to go out again. I reached up to my waist, but again my body was always trying to pull me back in. After a little while I just gave up. The pulling from my body was just too strong.
I stayed lying down in the same position for a couple of minutes trying to understand what the hell just happened. Then i just got up..It was around 3:30 am..I couldn't get much sleep after that.
This was the first time anything like this has happened to me. I am hoping someone can explain what this actually was and why it might have happened to me.
I have been reading alot on AP since this event. But I cannot induce what happened on that night.

Probably because you're now expecting too much.

You can't force a projection... it's something that you "allow" to happen. If that makes any sense. :)
