Do you think lovers can be having their first life together right now? or do you think there is always a sense of history with lovers? I am just wondering on your opinions. I know that a lot of relationships can be karmic (karma or dharma).

I know I responded to your other thread but I feel like adding my input.

It is a great time for change, and many opportunities are available to those who are in love and willing to clear the air for eachother. If you were previously in a relationship and have move passed it, but still feel as if their are unresolved issues or emotions under the surface, it is best not to bring these things into a new relationship (ever heard of 'don't see a new relationship with old eyes'?), simply because this is not fair to your new partner. But, sometimes the case is with the other who brings their emotional baggage to you, and if this is indeed the case it is not your responsibility to take the blame for their problems. Both should have the maturity to take responsibility for their own... well, whatever it is, and grow together... not cause more problems. These sorts of relationships are destructive and not good for either of those involved.

But, as mentioned, it is a great time for opportunities if you are able to let go of what no longer serves you. If you or somebody you know is holding onto past reasons, sometimes talking with them can help, but other times is it good to wait until you are able to recover before involving yourself in new relationships!

There has to be a first for almost everything. Maybe you and your soulmate/tf/whatever just discovered each other.

Me and mine have been star-crossed in at least two lives now and perhaps even more. I'm betting on the next one being the charm. AT least we now and have had a spiritual connection.

You are entitled to love as much and anyone you like. There doesn't need to be a particular history with that soul you love. In the end it doesn't matter - every story is one you are telling yourself

From what I know, there is a past life history with lovers, close friends and loved ones. Nature tends to bring them closer together life after life.

Past life case studies of Dr. Brian Weiss too shows people having their current acquaintances in their past lives too, though not necessarily as lovers. They were even present as daughters, grandmothers and so on.

And at times as lovers or married couples themselves.

I know I have known my husband in past lives, I'm guessing the children we have have also been associated with us. I have no recollection of us being lovers or married in previous lives but I know that we have been in the same family or soul group before.

i've heard a lot of souls here now are on their 'last lives'.
i think it's possible many of us want to clear the air/resolve old issues with those from our past lives etc. and maybe for many of us, being lovers with them is how we chose to do it.

I am convinced that you can meet a new soul during this life and have a close relationship with him/her without any past experience between you. Every person/soul meets such person in life as he/she needs - the law of attraction. Everyone makes a vibration and it attract a concrete type of person - no.1. You planned the spending of the part of life with person no.1 (you both agreed on this plan in life between lives) to resolve your old hurts/negative conviction you have made in past lives. But if you are working on yourself and get these issues resolved before meeting with this person, you cannot need this person anymore. Your vibration will change and you will meet a new type person no.2 suitable to your recent vibration and thus karmic needs. And you originally did not plan to meeting with this person 2 in life between lives - you both could agree on your cooperation during this recent life. And this person no.2 could be absolute "new" soul you have never met before. If you finish old issues with someone, you are prepared to move to "another level" and start to cooperate with new souls. Thus no everyone you have a close relationship, such as lover-relationship must be your old "friend" from the past.

Some people are planned to meet with them but there is still a question of evolution of your soul and it is possible to change some plans during currect living - see the book of Robert Schwartz.
