Connection between astral dimension and the secret?

I think there is some kind of connection between astral projection and the book "The Secret". They talk about manifesting what you want visually and what you visualize is what you will get...It's like being in the astral plane, whatever you visualize happens instantaneously...Maybe this is the authors background (astral projection).
Maybe there are people who can balance the vibrations between the astral dimensions and our conscious dimension and literally can program their own future...Wouldn't that be cool!!!:)
Maybe life is just a big lucid dream and when we die is when we wake up...

I see the physical reality as just another non-physical reality of more dense energy. The same principles apply here as apply in the astral. Visualize what you want to happen and it'll happen... albeit a bit slower, due to the more dense nature of this reality.

I see the physical reality as just a shadow/imitation of a more pure, sublime reality. I'm not sure about programming our future as that would defeat the purpose of free-will. Just live each day as it is, with no thought of what was and no expectation of what will be.

Well, I don't see it so much as "programming the future"... as much as you can encourage the probability of a good outcome. :)
