Help! O_O Evil Shaman?

Now, normally, I lead a very pleasant life with very little drama. Nonetheless, about two hours ago, I've found out something very dramatic indeed.

So my dad's ex-wife just revealed to us that over the last several years, she has been going to see a shaman woman, and that together they have been trying to negatively influence my family for a very long time. Basically cursing it.

Guys...what do we do?!! My mom says the two of us should meditate together (no one else in my family is into that) and that we should try and clean the house's energy, as well as concentrate on protecting our family. That seems like a good idea, but it doesn't sound enough. If this shaman woman has been sending bad energy to my family for YEARS, it's deep-rooted. What else can be done?

Please help. :( This is insane!

From what it sounds you live a nice pleasant life.. And all this work that this "evil shaman" did did not affect you. It was only when you found out that they were doing something to you that it created fear and negative feelings.

So what have they done to you? They caused you to change your mindset of positive to negative and instilled fear into you. Now that you know of what they did or didn't do. You gave it power over you.

Before you knew about this you had a great life?

What changed? Nothing but your thinking that someone is making it bad when according to you it is not bad.

Well... before you found out about this action, did you feel like there was unnecessary negativity going on? Or has the idea of it made you think there's something to it?

Personally, I don't believe in 'curses' because I believe no one else can interfere with our free-will in that way.

However, now you may feel under attack and suspicious and expecting bad things to happen. Put your feet flat on the floor and take back your own power and intent for your life and what happens in it. Breaking off contact with such a negative person probably wouldn't be amiss either.

If you'd feel more comfortable, then yes - meditate around your home, visualize a mirror bubble to reflect any negativity away or even a forcefield type bubble to neutralize something negative coming in your direction.

Personally, I'd laugh at the woman for wasting her money trying to do something like this.

Innerlight and Kaere - great minds indeed! However, I'm not expecting anything bad to happen at all. I'm not putting my fears into the future, I think for now I'm just in shock.

Although I lead a happy and pleasant life, I think most of the negativity has been projected onto my dad. He's the one that she holds the biggest grudge against. The thing is, she's normally a manipulative person. We've often caught her in a lie, and usually she lies in order to make my dad believe we think bad of him.

If she and the shaman woman have been sending negativity our way, I haven't been the main target. I'm just concerned about what we can do now.

I'd ignore it - why give her any power?

Because some things exist only if you give power to them, while others exist regardless of what you believe. Whether or not I believe in the existence of cars doesn't mean I won't get into an accident if I stand in the middle of a highway.

What I mean is that I'm not planning to blow this up in my mind - I certainly do not believe any of these women have any power over me. There is no one who has greater power over me than myself. However, negative energy can be influential. I think right now it is is wise to learn to provide a better psychic protection for myself and my family. Also, to get rid of any malevolent energy attached to us would be great as well.

Shamans don't do that. Something sounds off with what she is telling you.

I'm currently studying Shamanism in school. Technically, I can source you about a dozen shamans who have been noted for doing harm to others. They're tribal shamans throughout the 20th century, so they are of course more powerful than this anonymous shamanic woman.
