Asala is also known as Dharma day is celebrated on the full moon which will occur for most people on Sunday July 5th.
Will you be celebrating that day?

I'm not familiar with Buddhism, but there must be somewhere written that pain and suffering are symptoms that we don't follow the path that we should, for our own good.

When I used to live over in the Far East, if you visited a store during this holiday, one main item that would be for sale is the robes for monks.
One of my Brother-in-Laws just left being a monk. During this holiday he went and bought 50 robes for new monks.
