Sticking Around loved ones !!

Just wondering your thoughts. How long do loved ones stick around/visit.

I thought they maybe watched over family till they passed (2nd generation tho???)
How often are visits ??? Moving on ??

I felt mums presence so much in first year now feels like once in a blue moon. Just wondering thoughts/ experience etc

Depend on their attachment to their family, friends, home, or anything they like when they still as human.

Your question assumes that loved ones stick around and/or visit to begin with. My thoughts are that although this is possible, and maybe even likely, I don't believe there is any person who can answer your question with anything other than an opinion. If I were you, I'd learn how to communicate with the deceased and do some first hand investigation. I'd recommend astral projection as a means to do so. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Yeah I think its all personal opinions, feels like if I ask and try to communicate they will be around but is it good for them to be called upon often??? Mmm I guess we'll never truly know until we are there ourselves x

Some do and some don't , from one who has had these visits, this is more than just an opinion

of course, the experiences vary per individual and the relationship one had with the loved ones while they were on Earth.

I am sorry for the loss of your mum . Try speaking to her on a daily basis.

Give it a try and realize it may take a little patience for that first connection/ communication. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with calling on them however often you feel the need, or want to. Some people however, believe that keeping in contact with a deceased loved one is holding them back from whatever ...... I don't believe this.

I have been in contact with someone since 2006 on an almost daily basis and there have been no complaints from them that I was holding them back from anything ! LOL ! In fact, they tell me I need to keep in contact with them even more often than I am doing

and there is another who passed away in 1996 who is just recently starting to make conversations. I had no idea way back then, that communication with loved ones on the Other Side was even possible.

Anything is possible if you believe it is so

There seems to be some that believe that if loved ones in spirit visit us, we are holding them back, that spirit is somehow trapped and needs to go into the light.

Not true, based on those spirits I've spoken to. Once a spirit has made the initial journey into the light, they are free to come and go as they wish.

Since spirits are just people who have left the physical aspect of themselves behind, they act just like people... some check on us daily, some pop in on special ocassions, some essentially sit back and only come to check on us in a crisis.

Perhaps your mum is satisfied that you're managing alright, and don't need her beside you as much now. Or perhaps she's found grand things to do on the other side to keep her busy, so her visits are less frequent.

As Adrienne suggested, talk to your mum. She'll hear you, even if she isn't right there next to you. Sort of like a celestial phone call to a loved one you miss. Reaching out might encourage her to pop in for a visit.

It is possible that these contacts are genuine, and possible that there is some kind of delusion or deception taking place. Of course, the opinion I was originally speaking of relates to the OP's question of how long the deceased stick around, rather than whether or not they even do.

Thanks guys. Yeah I used to have conversations in my head daily with past loved ones especially my mum. But One day I thought, maybe its just me talking to myself lol. I thought we spoke multiple times on the phone everyday, so why wouldn't we keep talking. Then I thought wait a minute, im holding her back talking about nonsence lol. So I held back and thought shed get in touch when she wants to but not felt anything for a while
