^^^ That's why it's important to repeat it often and with conviction, to drill it into the subconscious and override any doubts. Anyone who thinks they can utter an affirmation just once a day has missed the point.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I think there's more to it than just the 'Louise Hay' approach of repetition because negative self-belief is supported by a lot of evidence which is very compelling. But there is also contradictory evidence which people completely overlook. It is common to ignore evidence which will completely shatter ones false beliefs. Now I Just wonder, how convincing is the repeated affirmation if the evidence for it is overlooked?

If, for example, you have a negative self-belief, you will find plenty evidence of that because the evidence is why you believe it true. But equally, it can be turned turned around by starting to notice all the evidence which contradicts the belief. Not even evidence that supports a new positive belief necessarily; just evidence that proves the negative belief cannot be true.

I believe that positive affirmations not only brings wholeness to yourself, but it puts out the positiveness to the earth, and in return it all comes back onto you. That is what the world needs. More positivity.

I never do affirmations , if things are not as I like
or want them to be I ask guides and angels to change
it they tell what and how and why and what is changed
and what is than why and how and every thing
I noticed many things are different for many individuals
and they all have some what different ways
comparison is often just a curiosity
and no issue for how i do things or like hem to be
surely my life is just that, my life

I have used affirmations in the past when I was asked to use them.
They can give you great focal point, if used correctly.
Yes we can create through our Self, not until we are fully integrated.
Until then affirmations are a great tool, if used correctly.
