Thinking is the problem.
Going beyond that, simply Being is the image of God.
Genesis is about being made in the Image of God. Our deepest self, our soul, Consciousness is the Image of God.
The self-image which gets us into these entrapment, attachments, and fears just creates more thinking, more obsessions, more compulsions, more disconnection from that which is WITHIN us.- the God Image. And that image is who we truly are, because we are our true Selves in God. That is the image, the reflection of God in us.
Nothing can truly be eternal or immortal unless it always was without beginning or end. The soul is without beginning nor end. The soul is the Image of God.

The Creator is fully the giver. He is the characteristic of bestowal and love. There is only complete bestowal, complete love, absolute, pure, perfect, and infinite, and it is revealed in us to the same degree that we are ready to absorb it, to bring ourselves in line with it.
