Summer Solstice. June 21/22.

And, once again, Stonehenge will be inundated by the phonies and poseurs who leave behind them their litter for wardens to clean up.

Hint : there are many other places in Britain to go to celebrate the event. No clues. If you are genuine, you already know where they are
2nd Hint : Stonehenge is actually aligned on the WINTER solstice.

"Look at me! I'm at Stonehenge. It's so spiritual and stuff... the druids built it y'know!" LOL, I love your second hint, norseman

Well, wherever you're going to be I wish y'all a happy Solstice. I'll be in my own little forest grove over here in Canada.

I will be here, looking East over the North Sea to greet the sunrise

I don't, but I think it is a mindset in many ways. Whether that is me making an excuse for not celebrating and thanking the sun for its goodness.

I tend to do a lot of urban spirituality tho.

How beautiful.

I've been informed by some web site or other that the sun will up at 6.04am tomorrow. So, I, along with my Bichon Maltese will be heading for Costa Papagayo just before sunrise to say good day to the beautiful sun. I too will be looking East, but over the Atlantic. Then...I'll go home, have a shower and go to work.

I'll take a picture for you Norseman, ;-)

Happy solstice everyone

LL

Any high place with a clear view of the horizon will do, Belle. Just look to the east.
