I love the art of the Impressionists like Van Gogh too; it's what originally got me into oil painting when i was younger.
I haven't really tried acrylics but oil pastels can create a lovely picture.

i luv oilss pastelss only prob is wen u usess thm it takess ages 2 get off yore handss washh thm lol
