Starting An Alternative Healing Practice

Does anyone here have their own Alternative Healing service/practice?

I've never had formal training, but I have meditated since I was a kid and had an awesome teacher/mentor/friend as a teenager. She showed me aura reading, reiki, tarot, pendulum work, etc. We'd talk for hours about different religions and metaphysical ideas. I always left her shop feeling somewhat inquisitive and lighter, like I wasn't as afraid to pursue my curiosities.

When I was 19 I reached a high point in my meditation that I later found out was Akashic meditation. I didn't even know what Akashic meditation was until years later.

I sit back and imagine what I should be doing/set out to do and I keep seeing myself as a healer.
I have done some healing work, yes, with my teacher friend, in the past and it was a truly an amazing experience that really helped the people I was working with.

I just want to do that for people. Help balance their energy. because I believe it will not only bring healing to their individual lives but to the world and that's a beautiful thing.

Except I have no clue how I should go about it or if I'm even allowed to do it in the state of California.

Anyone have some helpful advice on how I can pursue this path?

I'm certified as a Crystologist, but Spirit taught me how to heal with straight energy and then later with crystals long before I got certified and I was seeing clients professionally also.

Basically all healing paths lead to the same place one could say, there are some important things to know along the way however and training can be most helpful for this. There are a great many forms and there's plenty in California.

Reiki is a traditional one many start with and you'll get a really good foundation in safe healing practices through it and can branch into other healing modalities as inspired from there.

Currently neither the legal system or science believes in Energy Healing so there's no laws against it and since we are not currently in an Inquisition period the Church won't hunt you down either. It's a great time period to be a Healer!

Look around your town or google in your area, you'll find something - its far more common than you can imagine!
