G'zaagi'in Nindede
It was two years ago today that my beloved Father left his ailing physical body behind and journeyed home to the Spirit World.
Dad, it makes sense that you journeyed home on the day of the year that some believe the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is its thinnest. I am so glad you are home and not suffering in this world anymore.
Thank you for all your love and guidance. I'm so glad you are my Father! I love you, my Dad; G'zaagi'in Nindede!
PICTURES: Dad with my brother in 1956: Even though he was not very well nurtured as a child, my Dad did his best to be a good father to us kids. Here he is playing with my brother in the field.
And the painting I did of Poundmaker (a Plains Cree Chief and peacemaker in the 1860s) in 2010: I always saw my Dad's face in this painting.

That's a beautiful tribute to your beloved father, Raven.
I'm sorry for your loss...though I'm sure he's smiling big and is with you always....(((hugs)))
No, you just can't make that stuff up!

Thank you for the hugs and kind words, Hope33. And yes, my friend ... I feel his smile beaming warm on me very often!
Have a good evening (or day, depending where in the big ole beautiful world you are)!
