Maybe I'm a bit older now but when I look back on my life, I can see a theme that has developed. When I got my first serious job, all I wanted to do was to save money and buy a degraded farm on which to plant trees and think about life. I have now mostly done this and it has been transformed from desperation to arcadia. In the meanwhile, I started to write some short stories about my life. The theme that developed was the weirdness of life. They do exist on line, all you need to do is to put into a search engine the title, "By the Grace of the Pine Tree". One of the stories I wrote was about an esoteric group I joined which I believe was also a big influence. I host the occasional visitor who does some work [really not much here] in return for keep. At the back of the farm, I've built a small self contained rustic hut which is at the end of a 10 minute walk from the house that is suitable for anyone who wants to appreciate nature or think about life. Maybe there might be someone on this forum who might like to use it?
