My Artwork, Embroidery

I am attempting to post my artwork, as I love how our art makes us all individual and unique.

Please bear with me,

One is embroidery work I did to make a black rose with yellow leaves. It is in finished form (need to iron it now only) in a frame and hung.

The other is my next work in progress. It is to be a pink bathroom vanity counter or my best representation of one. I will post it when it is finished and framed as well.

This is supposed to be a pink girl's vanity work I plan on giving to my niece for her bedroom.

This is going to be my next work. It is a branch with flower growth. The branch I plan to use black thread for a gray for the shadows. It was inspired by a poem by Ezra Pound about a metro-station. The name Ezra pound kept coming to me through guidance so eventually I looked him up. And I found the poem and this came of the imagery in the poem. Originally I believe the poem mentions growth from a bough but I pictured a branch.

My daughter did a bit of embroidery. It's hard work, time consuming, and requires an artistic eye, dedication, and commitment. They look lovely. Looking forward to seeing your finished new projects.

Yes Fox Spirit maybe your little one would really enjoy a project like that with you, my niece loves that sort of thing.

This here following is the branch with flower growth project I took from inspiration from a thought which led to an ezra pound poem. The Japanese word for Life is written or embroidered rather at the top, that thought came to me when I figured learning to write such a language may become easier to instead of just writing it- embroidering it.

Embroidery is one of those very darling and old fashioned art forms. Not nearly enough people in this age practice it. It's a shame. It has a charm no other medium can beat. The very endurance and discipline it takes to sit there and focus on a single piece mind boggles me. I am a digital artist and I can be quite impatient and spoiled, I suppose ;P...
Your work is fabulous. Very delicate and shows elegance like a true embroidered pattern. I suppose any subject would be great as well. I would probably die of delight if one were to convert my works to such. I can dream though. I thank you sharing these photos and your progress.
