Aventurine vs green quartz

I have a few pieces of each and wanted to know what the subtle metaphysical differences between them would be. I can't seem to find much online.

Aventurine is actually another form of quartz.

Having said this, the difference between them is very subtle.

Also very similar to Prasiolite.

Thanks BigJohn. I have a simple abundance crystal grid and wondered if the properties of green quartz would be more or less the same as aventurine. I guess in this case intention is more important than the properties!

Green Quartz and another Green Quartz called aventurine are so close, I would say there should be no problem.

Your question was interesting though. It seems as if no one knows the differences, hihi. Some say it's the same, others say it's not. Apparently aventurine isn't technically a mineral, not a quartz, but a rock. A quartzite with mica in it. Others say it has fuchsite in it, which I find a tad weird. That also has mica in it, so I'm wondering "Does aventurine really have fuchsite in it or are they confusing it with mica?"
One source says green quartz attracts good luck, another source says that's green aventurine. Very confusing, haha.
Trust your intuition. And like you say, intention does a lot as well :)
