Hello to everyone, l am looking forward to getting to know your community and seeing if it's a good fit for me. I come in with a lot of experiences and questions. I find myself these days mostly enlivened when talking about "my spirituals" and to describe my theology I usually just say I am so Buddhist I couldn't possibly be Buddhist. Last year I had a profound awakening, and ever since I have had a deep acceptance of the inauthenticity of pretty much everything. I feel like I am detoxing off of the dire need to pretend something (usually me) other than love and compassion truly matter. Which is hilarious because I was never anything approaching a drama queen. Quite the opposite. But back to the point I look forward to our discussions!  |

Hi QT pie! I know exactly where you're coming from when you say you're "I so Buddhist I can't possibly be Buddhist". I've gone through my whole life doing the same with Spiritualism, and at age 72,l I'm quite happy with how this has worked out.
