visual imagination?

When theres an exercise that asks you to visualize something like "a ball of light starting at your solar plexus and growing till it surrounds you" i picture it in third person as if im seeing my body from the outside nice through my physical eyes is that a bad thing or is this ok?

It depends on you. If you like the idea then do it. If it sounds too hard or you do not like it, then do not do it.
