Dancing Video Game

Hello everyone....

I dont know whats wrong lol.. i feeel kinda sad but not really... I know it will pass.... and everything will be all right... but this is how I feel when I am not doing anything... or not working... tsk tsk

anyways the dream...
I had a dream the other night where I was in some apt and I was playing some video game with a group of other guys I dont know. The game was just us dancing not a avatar either it was the people playing the game on the screen. The focus was more on the game vs the perception of sitting on the sofa infront of the tv messing around with the controllers... I was watching my self dance and I was like I look good haha... Maybe a game of insecurities or some sort of test? Anyways I won... lol

After wards there was a girl there but I did not see her face... I know one of the guys tried to pick on me and my cookie eatting haha...

The sadness is trying to tell you something. The dream may be a clue. And I suspect you may be right that it is related to a game of insecurities. Dancing basically means being involved with something. In this instance it is the video game. Games are competition and competition puts us in a win lose dynamic where we are compelled to try and prove our worth by looking good by winning. Life isn't about winning and losing. It's not a contest to prove who are the winners and losers in life. In gods eyes we are all priceless despite any wins or losses in our life.

So I suspect you are caught in a mindset of seeing yourself from a winner loser perspective. Do you or other people call you a loser for not working or for playing video games? What is your self perception about being out of work? Whether we are working or not doesn't define our value. It may relate to our feelings of competence or it could just be the job market is tight but it doesn't define us as people or souls. To clear the sadness you may need to shift how you define your worth away from the win lose perspective.

yeah I think what you said about winning and loosing and trying to prove our worth is what I was contemplating that night. I guess all that you said is metaphor but also if we just look at it from a different perspective.... the idea of winning and losing and trying to prove ourselves against others is the game.... its not real..... reality is just as you say that we are all priceless and capable of the infinite. I have to keep reminding myself this truth.... even if everyone around me dosent think it. Haha and nope people arent calling me a loser.... they wouldnt be crazy enough to say such things to me... I am a big black guy... btw I am employed but I am making my own company a reality. I am just not getting the feed back that I want from the team but....

I had a meeting with this last night lol... no one showed up... instead of being depressed that made me feel better... because I know the truth... I know that once I get the ball rolling they will be anxious to jump in the game.

Chin up... I am happy and I just have to figure out what... I want to do.

Well I'm glad to hear no one is calling you a loser, that would not be good. I like the idea of seeing the value in your dancing despite others being slow to join in with your company. You are right, once things get rolling odds are they will all come running. Have you tried visualization? Visualize your company thriving and ask what needs to happen for that to be your reality and see what comes back. Best of luck with it.
