Communication from pets who crossed the Rainbow

My dear, darling fur baby "Daisy" passed away a few years ago. I think about her and miss her still every single day.

The day she passed, I asked for a sign that she had made it over the Rainbow Bridge and that she was OK. She was a gentle soul. I worried about her being treated well by other pets in spirit. As I was talking to the staff at the place where I was picking out an urn for her ashes, I heard something shift around on a bookshelf and I looked over and saw her name "Daisy" on a name tag on that shelf. I took that as a sign from her that she is OK.

Since the neighbors that live on each side of me got a pet that looks very similar to my dear Daisy. One of them comes into my backyard on occasion and bumps her head into my leg like Daisy used to do. Sometimes I wonder if Daisy's spirit is urging her to say hello to me.

Do pets communicate to us in the same manner human spirits do? How do we know if they are sending us messages?

I’ve got an amazing story on this subject. Last September my good friend’s cockatiel died. She’d had him for 28 years, and he’d been in the family for a couple years before that – so over 30 years with him. He was so old bless him. He was blind in one eye, and had half a wing missing, so never flew properly. But he was happy, and my friend doted on him as if he were her baby. He was chirpy right to almost the end.

Last September he died suddenly in front of her. I was the one she called, and she was inconsolable. So I went over and dealt with his little body, and gave him a little funeral. My friend was as grief stricken as if it had been a human. In fact, after knowing her for 16 years, I can say this is the most upset I’ve ever seen her. It was only the second time I’d ever seen her cry.

This is where it gets incredible. My friend wasn’t particularly spiritual, and had no prior experience with spirits, spirit energy, apparitions, or anything of that nature. But about a week after his passing, she was laid on the sofa watching TV to take her mind off him. In her line of sight, and by the TV, were spots in front of her eyes. She thought it was her eyes, so she looked away, rubbed her eyes, and looked back. The spots were still there, and were developing. She looked away once more, then looked back, and realised it wasn’t her eyes but something else. Then, the spots slowly developed into an orb of light, and began displaying motion, like wings fluttering with different colours. My friend was stunned, not at all alarmed, and instinctively put her arm out. The orb floated/fluttered across the room and went into her embrace.

My friend said she quickly fell asleep in this position. Three hours later she awoke, and her grief was almost (but not quite) 100% gone. She described it as a healing. She also described it as THE most beautiful experience of her entire life (she’s almost 50).

But there’s more. Since then, she has discovered that if she lies down and meditates (some might say ‘go into a trance like state’) then after about 20 minutes visions of deceased loved ones open up on the back of her eyelids, and for about a minute she can hold coherent, intelligible, and relevant telepathic conversations with them – her cockatiel is included here. He told her he is now one of her spirit guides. She also feels an energy all over her, and the energy seems to correspond with the person (i.e. heavy, light, jovial, serious, etc). So it's opened up something akin to mediumship in her too.

This got me thinking. We ask “do animals have souls?” Oh my God absolutely YES, and in no different way to humans - we're all exactly the same on the soul level! Her cockatiel’s soul was released from his limited little bird body/brain, and immediately expanded when he went back to spirit. Spirit is so powerful. Just because we might recognise him as “a bird”, I say no. He chose to incarnate into an earthly bird body, and it’s my belief he chose to incarnate with a human for the purpose of preparation to incarnate soon as a human… perhaps. If he does, then his soul would have integrated a life-long experience living with a human, so will instinctively be comfortable incarnating as one. It's all about the evolution of consciousness. The bond between him and my friend was so sweet, it had to be seen to be believed. If that does not have a higher, soul-level meaning, then I don’t know what does. All relationships have a higher significance in my opinion.

Bluto - That is a lovely story. Thank you for sharing. I like the thought that they stay around us in spirit. So amazing how the experience opened an ability to communicate with other spirits. It seems like she is embracing the journey which is also great to know and I bet more stories will continue.

Ginger, You may like this story then: You may know there are pet psychics - well, when a person is in a lot of grief this Vet (southwest USA) will offer
her info to the person.
So she was troubled that when she brought in her ill doggy to end his suffering, as you also may know he 'rallied', as they often do!
I laugh as I picture it...he got very happy, excited and started barking at the blank wall!!

So the pet psychic asked if she had had another doggy that passed...and described him...well, yeah...they were buddies
and he passed the yr before.

"Well, he came barking and happy, too; waiting for his friend to join him!"
That wasn't some blank wall.

I feel your pain, as I too lost many dear little friends, and even to this day they are in my mind, and I often have experiences with my old lady, that's how we used to call one my dogs, she was a wild spirit.

Yes, I have received communication in many instances, I've been gifted with the ability to astral project and I met my old lady quite a few times. The Love? Of cosmic scale, it's something magical.

Rest assured, they are fine and they are watching over us.

What if I told you that some of us have been pets in past lives? I had had such past lives memories and have read others too.

It was subtle, but meaningful..
