Does the spirit world, ie Guides or Guardian Angels ever get anything wrong?

Okay what happened was a month or so ago I got an interview for a job I have always wanted. The interview date just happened to coincide with a day off from work I had forgotten I had booked. Prior to this I had been reading in my horoscope (not the best place I know) about upcoming changes in career etc.

The job was located 150 miles from where I live now so would mean a house move. The area is more affluent and we have wanted to move away from where we are now for some time. So it seemed an ideal opportunity. Then I found a company who offer to rent your house from you and give a guaranteed income. So that was another option. If i got the job it would be a 7 month wait to start working so giving me plenty of time to sort out a move.

My partner had also gotten an email at work asking for voluntary severances from staff. So she would get a nice lump sum and would help to tie us over till she found a new job.

Mine and my partner had really strong gut instincts that this job was for me and would lead to a better life for us both. I really felt that spirit was paving the way for us to move forward.

Now that normally doesn't happen with a job for me, and I usually have my reservations about jobs. After several opportunities to change jobs and deciding not to, this felt right for me and my partner.

A few weeks after the interview, which I thought went okay. I was turned down for it.

Now I can take it in the chin that my skills or whatever were not up to scratch, that was my failure. What I can't take is this feeling of being let down by spirit, betrayed if you will that I had come so far and really felt it's where spirit wanted me to be. I had put my trust in spirit and relied on my gut instinct as you are supposed to.

I cannot trust my instinct/gut feeling anymore and certainly not any messages from spirit.

Sometimes these things teach us things not related to what we desire (a job). So we can come out the end feeling let down but all the wiser about something else which likely was the point...

Yeah it taught me to never trust my gut instinct and if spirit give you external signs to ignore them. Yep I'd say that was pretty beneficial to my spiritual growth.

It will be, in the long term, though it's not recognizable now.

They are not perfect, they make mistakes.

Also be aware that they have their own agendas that they follow. As such what is correct for them may be viewed by you as a mistake.

Additionally, even when one makes no mistakes, the outcome is uncertain. Other forces and factors outside one's control play a role in what happens. As such, with any being, the outcome is not always the desired or intended one.

That's what I thought. Even though they have access to all the knowledge in the universe and beyond, they are not able to predict the outcome of everything.
