Luntrus & Scarlett,
You guys have insight into our true nature, into ultimate reality where all is pure awareness, perfection, love. Yes, there is no evolution necessary there.
What I am trying to get you guys to consider and look for is that we have been limited in this reality as human beings for a reason, to overcome and grow toward out true nature. This is different than realizing that our true nature is perfect and then deducing that everything in this reality, including suffering, is perfect as well.
I realize this idea, that we can overcome suffering, is extreme right now but there was a small part of myself that believed it to be true and pursued it and so I assume it to be the same in others. Jesus compared it to a mustard seed that starts really small but grows expansively if you tend to it.
Okay, that's it. I've presented my view and hijacked the discussion enough by now.

I don't see it like that though. Limitation is creation. There's nowhere to 'grow' to.. just places and realities to explore. It contributes to our overall expansion of being as a whole, but you can't become something you already are. |
