Crop Circles!!...truth or fiction?

I forgot to mention the skeptics say in the matter. Skeptics claim that
there is no crucial evidence that can be presented to prove that
non-human intelligence make these crop circles, and that all studies
and evidence is highly argumentative.




Studies Show that wheat inside the circles has a different electricity from
normal wheat, but the reason for that isn't abnormal, normal wheat has
its electricity gathered on its top, while wheat in the circles is crushed to
the ground.




a Video that came out in 1996 showing some lights floating around a crop
field during a day, creating the circles in the image above( or one very
similar to it) in broad daylight, to believers this was an undeniable evidence.
Unfortunately a guy called John Wayn or something said that he made
the video, and showed us how he did it(I saw it on National Geographic)
after making the video he delivered it to a bar where most of it's regular
costumers are believers, and that's how the video spread.

themselves "Circle Makers", they are hired by firms to do some kind of
advertisement about I don't know what, but they demonstrate how easy
the process can be done, they say it takes them a couple of hours to get
one done. They sometimes have trouble working at day time because of
believers, they taunt them and sometimes throw stones at them, so they
usually work late at night and before the sun breaks.

Not only do they have to deal with believers, but with farmers as well, who
are probably the ones that get damaged the most by this whole thing.
Trespassing is a serious crime, and those circle makers could get shot at
by furious farmers. IMO a job where you get paid to get shot at must really
pay well, so I reckon we'll be seeing a lot more beautiful designs in the future.
Bad news for farmers though lol.

I. The Experimental Results

The oval-shaped crop circle (Photo 1) was formed the night of July 31 / August 1, 1991, near the town of Beckhampton. [1] On August 5th, we gathered two soil samples inside it and took a control several dozen feet away. Their emissions of alpha and beta particles were measured with a Tennelec/Nucleus LB4000-8 gas flow counter on August 18th. Their emissions proved to be markedly elevated, compared to the control. One sample (1A) yielded alpha emissions 198% above the control, and beta emissions 48% above the control. The other sample (1B) yielded alpha emissions 45% above the control, and beta emissions 57% above the control. [2]

We hypothesized that these anomalies were too large to ascribe to normal soil variation. This was supported by the fact that two controls from another formation in the area (formed August 9/10, SU 076 679) yielded alpha and beta counts within 2% and 4% of each other. By contrast, the two samples from within the formation yielded alpha and beta counts 22% to 45% higher than the averaged controls. In light of our subsequent discovery of short-lived radionuclides in the Beckhampton oval, we think it reasonable to believe that the samples' emissions were not due to normal soil variation.

Our next step was to identify the specific radioactive isotopes responsible for the elevated emissions. Thus we sent the samples to another lab for gamma spectroscopy, which was performed on August 26th. Analysis of the output revealed the presence of thirteen unusual and short-lived radionuclides in the samples. Two were found in all three samples. Eleven were in either 1A or 1B but not in the control. We list these eleven radionuclides in Table 1.

Visually, the stems are partially flattened, and entangled or intertwined. The plants are all bent and face the same direction, clockwise or counter clockwise. The crops are never damaged, broken, or show signs of forced bending. The plants continue to grow normally throughout the rest of their growing cycle.

A magnificent 300 foot long 'crop circle' that seems to depict the Holy Grail has appeared in mysterious circumstances in a field close to the Avebury stone circle in Wiltshire.

The crop formation was spotted at about 3 am by investigators who were watching the fields in the area hoping to catch the circle makers at work. The researchers, equipped with night vision glasses, were astonished to find the circle had appeared in a field they had been watching just an hour and a half earlier when they returned after checking other fields in the area.

Thanks for providing information on both sides of the debate. As for the Circlemakers, they also make crop circles for purely artist reasons as well advertisement. Also when they make crop circles now, they do so with permission of the farmer and compensate them for their lost crop.

Yes, some did say they were artists, there is a lot of stuff and details to be
mentioned, but this is basically what I remember about this topic.

That was an interesting read.

They're actually symbols of the planets that reside in the stars and tell of other universes. So pretty. They also are symbolic of the higher planes that exist in us, the kabbalah talks about this. The crop circle above is esoteric and speaks of the higher mind that we strive to be and have been asked to do from spirit. It is a cause we work towards.

one day i saw a strange object in the sky for about a half an hour. the next day i noticed where it flew over, burn marks in the field in the shape of a swastika. this happened last year around this time, you can still see the shape, the grass is green again, but it grew in a lot different. dont know if that is considered a crop circle or not.

In the late 1990's, several crop circle enthusiasts and cereologists (those who study crop circles) captured on videotape the creation of crop circles as described in the above text. What they had observed and recorded showed two balls of light, each approximately the size of a grapefruit, appearing above a field of crops, usually at night, moving very rapidly in circular patterns, causing the crops to lay over and forming complete designs in the course of 6 - 12 seconds. Then, these balls of light quickly vanished in the sky. This has been recorded repeatedly. Crop circles are typically 100 – 200 feet in diameter, although one of 787 foot diameter occurred at Milk Hill in Wiltshire, UK, Aug., 2001. Many of them resemble mandalas. Photograms and images of other shapes have appeared in fields as well and many examples have been aerially photographed. Several elements of Sacred Geometry appear in these designs including Platonic solids, Vesica Pisces, pyramids or tetrahedrons, the Golden Mean and more. Many angles of the designs follow the Phi Ratio. Sometimes the designs are further articulated with apparent reference to our solar system and other star systems as well as a form of hieroglyphics, in a style reminiscent of Egyptian hieroglyphics. The Qabalistic glyph of the Tree of Life has appeared in perfect proportion, as well as symbols from other religious and spiritual traditions. One photogram appeared in Aug., 2001, clearly depicting the Face on Mars, even with a crop line across the face at the same angle which is seen in the Viking (NASA/JPL) photographs of the actual Face on Mars.

If all the crop circles are made by hoaxsters all over the world then they must be mathematicians. astronomers and widely read on religions, spirituality and other 'woolly' subjects as well.

Not all the hoaxers have to be smart. What you need are some leaders who can do the math. The rest of the group are the worker bees!

Of course they need to be familiar with religious symbols.. how can that be missed in the age of multimedia?

Pick a few symbols. Find a crop field. Get in touch with the farmer. Create a group of enthusiasts. And most importantly, make a plan..!
Create the crop circle during the night or day (it's not like people will spot you in a big crop field in the middle of the countryside ).

Heres the thing....

There are some, that are made by man. You can tell because the wheat is broken near the bottom. ITs dead and doesnt come back.

There are some that are unexplained, and cant be replicated, becasue the wheat isnt broken, its bent, and still intact, and ends up standing back up and growing after. And out of these ones all of them reflect some sort fo natural pattern and or sacred geometry

So id have to say its both ( which isnt in the poll )
