I often meditate till I have to have a wee.

Really, and it's quite neat that feeling rising up.

I love meditation... possibly too much, but still it brings (until something else does) what my life seems to need so who am I to question... well, I'm me so if I do question then somewhere, usually within me, I have the answers... and meditation helps that lots... so bring it on. So I will... later alligator!

Hi anthony c,

Meditating only 6 day's a week is fine.

Eventually you will find that you prefer how you feel on the day's that you do meditate. Just like a snowball getting bigger as it goes down a hill. The effects of meditation twice daily 7 day's a week builds up. It becomes life changing as you know :)

So go ahead skip a day here or there but understand skipping to many day's slows the balls momentum.

Take care.

Any amount of meditation will be helpful. More important than how many days a week is how consistent you are about it. Meditating in binges tends to be less effective than a steady pace. As such meditating four days straight and taking the rest of the month off is less effective than meditating every Monday.

This effect is not caused by the quality of meditation itself but rather because irregular meditation allows ego to dismiss the effects of meditation. Its also easier to put it off without a schedule. Meditating on a regular schedule sends an internal and external message that this is important to you. Daydreaming does not count as meditation.

Note that after meditation becomes 'normal' for you, you need to let go of rigid scheduling. Try to integrate meditation into normal daily life. Find little moments of time to meditate for a few minutes or even seconds. And I don't mean stop what you are doing at the time. Meditate while you are doing other things.

Sounds like "Speed Meditation". I think meditating any amount is good. I used to meditate twice a day, but had to time the later meditation to early evening otherwise I found myself falling asleep.

Yeah any amount is good. Once a week is better than no meditation at all.

Six days a week is great!
Twice a day even better.

Effects however depend on many factors.

Group meditations have more powerful effect on an individual.

Meditation on sacred places where there is
a lot of divine energy also make it more powerful.

Meditation on certain days makes it more powerful too.
For an example on full moon.
On birthdays of great spiritual teachers too (like Jesus Christ and Buddha)

It also depend on what meditation you do.
Some meditations are tens or hundreds of times more powerful than others.
I do this one goo.gl/ybzDhp

You can combine these things to get a better effect.

Continuity is by my opinion the most important
