What you are hearing is the sound of the Shakti (the sound of the universe).
Not many humans can hear this.
I hear this sound quite often.
It is perfectly safe and a sign that you are on the right path.

Oh my goodness CIRRUS, is that what it is (the sound of the Universe - WOW!). It does sound like Om, like a group of people chanting the OM word gently. I do enjoy hearing this sound and feel honoured that I am experiencing it. Incidently if I gently sing OM along with it the sound gets even more profound.

Could I ask you how I am hearing this sound, what I mean is, is it coming from one my chakra's being activated by meditation, if not how am I able to hear it...?

YES!! I feel, see, and hear the same things!! the lights I see however fluctuate from size, number, and colors.

To me it signifies that you have stimulated the internal energy within you... Many others have experienced and reported this type of sensation before. : )

Hi Tamara,
All humans differ genetically and are also affected by different life afflictions etc. Hearing the Om sound is purely down to whether the human body can receive it. The reason why your hearing the sound is probably linked to your Spiritual practice, meditation, mantra, praying etc. but i can't say it is definately linked to one of your Chakra's. I didn't start to hear this sound until about 3 years ago which coincided with my Spiritual awakening.
I also like hearing the Om sound i find it really comforting.

The Om sound started when I read Franks Kinslows books a few years ago and practiced his QE technique and he describes the experience I’m having as “Eufeeling” so that’s when it all began His latest book describes “EuStillness” which is even more profound than Eufeeling…

Anyway going completely off topic I’m hoping you can give me some advice. When I go to “User CP” to see if there are any responses etc in the threads I‘m having discussions in, it is always blank so I have to scroll through all the threads to find out if there have been replies – surely this should come up automatically in my “User CP” but it doesn’t. I’ve emailed the founder of this forum but haven’t received an answer, so though I would ask you guys how I can solve this problem…….

This happened to me as well when I first started meditation. After a while, the sensations would gradually increase into waves of pulsating energy going though my entire body. Eventually it progressed into a feeling that I was spinning in place!

I got freaked out when it happened and I opened my eyes an although my body felt like it was spinning I was sitting perfectly still. I don't know what it all means but it is an interesting sensation nonetheless.
