Hi, BigJohn,
I am drawn to these gemstones too in my own way, but I am not sure how practical it is for me to be drawn to them. Actually, I never tried.
I know you are right. Going to a crystal store would be a great experience and a better way to find crystals. Thanks.

There is a possibility the metaphysical stores of the present will not exist in the near future. People are not interesting in going to stores that have cleaned and cleared their products and have infused great energies into their product. They are most interested in buying a stone or crystal that looks beautiful outside but inside, does not look very good in many cases.
For example, people are familiar with hematite's silvery metallic look but in many cases can not recognize the dark red variety )i.e. red ochre).
