Lepidolite strong energy

I have a good-sized piece of raw lepidolite in my collection as it is supposedly helpful with anxiety. Although I don't meditate with my crystals and I wouldn't say that I can easily sense their energies, this crystal is buzzing. I think it has a really strong energy, which, however, is not soothing for me but scares me.

I once meditated with the crystal on my receiving hand and I started feeling dizzy. If I hold it when I'm anxious I feel heat on my palm and it makes things worse. I also cleanse it with palo santo regularly but I keep it away from me. It crossed my mind that it is my imagination but I tested myself by holding other items and it certainly doesn't feel the same.

Does anyone have any similar experiences with lepidolite or comments? I personally love my polished pink quartz, I sleep with a piece of smokey quartz on my feet, and calcites are some of my favourites. I think lepidolite does not work for me.

Maybe it's just not the right crystal for you. Why did you buy it? Just the description only? Or was there another reason?
There's so many crystals that are soothing, calming and so on, it is always best to feel which one resonates with you so you don't have things like this.

I don't have a problem with lepidolite, as a matter of fact, I love it! I never did until recently. I got myself a rough piece as well and a tumble of petalite & lepodolite.
The larger rough piece is in my bedroom on my nighttable. Had it not been rough I'd even have put it in my pillow-case.
So I don't have a problem with it at all.

Just put it away, not close to you I mean, and let it work on the environment. it is really good for electromagnetic stuff so it will do good in your home regardless :)

Did you try energetically cleaning it? Maybe it needs it.
