Celestial music at death

I was just wondering if anyone else has heard celestial type music when an animal or even a person has died?

A few years ago I was nursing my guinea pig in a sling as he was dying of an infection. I knew he was dying so I held him for several hours giving him reiki.

Just after he died and I buried him in the garden I went back into the house where I heard celestial music playing out of nowhere. My mum heard it too and we couldn't see where it could be coming from.

Just recently I asked her if she remembered that experience. She said yes. I guess it reinforced to me that it was real and I didn't imagine or exaggerate it.

I wonder if it was the spirit world and I just happened to hear it that day due to my guinea pig's death.

Just wondered if anyone had thoughts or similar experiences.

I've been woken up by really strange music that sped up until I got out of bed to investigate. No one else heard any music. I've also heard beautiful singing when I was very ill and no one else heard it.

When my mother was dying, I once woke up to music. It was a song expressing love.

I was passing out due to exhaustion - I think it was to encourage and strengthen me

Interesting thank you for the replies. I do think it occurs to comfort us during times of sickness and death.

i fell asleep the other night to celestial music. Don't know that anyone i care about was dying...
