I see this anxiety has been going on for awhile...thus, seeped into your meditation.
Have you tried anything that has helped, Tony?
Any therapist help you get to the bottom of it...when it started?

Yes I'd echo Miss Hepburn,

What do you fear, in what situation does the anxiety often show?

You don't have to be too specific or personal.

Just as an example if you were mugged & you were worried/ feared that it could happen again there would be multiple ways to approach this.

There would be things that you could do/ change in life to limit the chances etc.

If its regarding the death of a loved one etc then it is a little more complicated obviously & professionals would be more the way to go as well as anything that someone here may suggest.

We do a good brainstorm on SF that's for sure!

Fear & anxiety are natural parts of humanity - for our ancestors, if you heard a twig break whilst walking through a wood chances were that a predator was about to attack. Not every twig snap is a predator so it's learning when to run or when to keep calm.

A bear jumping out at you is enough to give anyone anxiety - even if your "bear" is for example exam stress you still have valid reasons.
