Spiritual, yet nonreligious songs?

I'm on the search for some spiritual but non-religious songs...
So far, I've found:

This is my Now, Jordan Sparks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jhOg...eature=related

So Small, Carrie Underwood
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcVAUeM2O3g

I'm sure there are a lot more...
so please share if you know of any.

Hi Enya (I like your music too, btw )
I like your style of music... a variety - but good stuff! Thanks for sharing!
That song - Kyrie eleison, by Mr Mr - has deeper lyrics than I'd ever imagined - I'd heard the song many times before but never really knew what it was about.
And the song by Foreigner - "I've got to take a little time - a little time to think things over... I want to know what love is!" Awesome song!

I LOVE John Denver too!
This one about horses & eagles is actually pretty spiritual...

Personally I think that Phil Collins has some of the most spiritual songs out there by a contemporary artist.
"Another Day in Paradise" ; "Both Sides of the Story"; Dance Into the Night" ; Through My Eyes"; True Colors"; and "Can't Find My Way" are some of my favorites. They are not only spiritual, but a reflection of our society, the way it is and the way it could be.

Hi Summerland,
Thanks for sharing those. I like Phil Collins too, but I hadn't heard all of those songs.
"Both sides of the Story" - great way to explain the heart of the understanding part of love (which imo, is what Spirituality is all about)
"Take a look through my eyes" - a lot of ways to look at that - but it reminds me of "life is like an eye that sees, but cannot see itself." - yet spiritually, it can.
"True Colors" - has special meaning to me... a group I went through a lot with sang & signed it to me as a going away gift - beautiful! :)

Hiya Perspective

I was introduced to this song a couple of years ago. I'd never heard it before, but I find it beautiful and quite spiritual. And very uplifting.

Hi Squatchit,
I like that song... I hadn't heard it before. Thanks! I especially resonated with the part that says,
"Time, just take the time
What you think is what you find
You know the answers
You're no ordinary dancer"

Psychoslice,
As soon as I played that song, I couldn't stop smiling... it is definitely a "feel good" song. Thanks! I think I'll share it with my dad too - He sings & plays guitar & I think he'll like this one... if he doesn't already know it!
