Pineal Gland Activation
I heard that through sleep deprivation and 3rd eye meditation, one can activate the pineal gland and have a psychadelic experience.
What I am refering to is different from astral projection, with pineal gland activation, one can have a total "out of this world" experience, where there are profound life changing experiences beyond words and possible encounters with other entities.
Anyone experienced with this?
Thanks,
Evan

Extreme stresses achieved through the aesthetic lifestyle (i.e. fasting, not sleeping, enduring harsh environmental conditions, etc.) have been proven to result in the release of dimethyltryptamine (a highly psychedelic drug) from the brains pineal gland or reptile brain. It has also been realized that most, if not ALL, living organism contain this stress activated drug from the human organism to the blade of grass outside your front door.

Keeping in mind that rest, food and shelter are actual requirements for human survival, the body will have a predictable physiological response to unhealthy amounts of deprivation. Personally, I'd be very careful about methods that trick my physical body into thinking it is dying. And I wonder too: What is the spiritual benefit of an experience or encounter you think you are having while in a self-induced delirium?

Evan... There's no need to go to extremes like sleep deprivation to activate the pineal gland. Besides that kind of stimulation is temporary, whereas with a consistent practice it can be awakened to function naturally in you and raise your overall consciousness and frequency. Dramatic 'life-changing' experiences may be fun for a little while, but ongoing spiritual development will give you many more subtle, delightful ones.
PINEAL GLAND MEDITATION
The pineal is a small white cone-shaped gland in the center of your brain, at the level of the tops of your ears. You could search for an image of it on the net.
* Breathe down in your lower belly, below your navel, for several minutes as you ease into relaxing, accepting whatever you experience in the moment. Notice how your mind begins to slow down.
* Visualize or imagine the pure Seed Light in the pineal gland as you breathe for a few minutes.
* Visualize the seed light radiating forward into your Third eye for several breaths... then upward into your Crown as you breathe with it.
* Do this practice daily for 10 minutes for several weeks at least.
