Meditation and Astral Projection
I come from the Astral Projection forum.
Here is a question to all who meditate.
A technique to astral project, is to meditate. Has anyone experienced an OBE or left their body during their meditation?

I've been astral projecting through meditation every day for the last twenty years. I use a visualization technique that has worked every time, including the first time...which was a bit of a shock. I've been astral projecting pretty much every day since as early as I can remember in childhood naturally through sleep, and I still astral project through sleep, and I'll tell you that projecting through an awake state gives you perfect waking clarity, and perfect waking control. Everything is as perfectly clear as an awake state, in other words. I usually transition my sleep projections to a lucid dream because they aren't nearly as good. Still really darn good, but nothing compares to projecting from an awake state and prefer no other projections than the ones through meditation. They're that good, if you can swing it.

I think it's probably easier to project through meditation if astral projection either comes naturally to a person, like in my case, or if you've spent some time projecting already. But like I said, there is no better way to project than from an awake state. Your experiences take a huge turn for the better...at least mine did. I think it's always worth a try, and that meditation is a good daily practice even if you don't astral project that way. Even if you project through sleep? Meditation can speed that along if you're a beginner...it is in itself an act of shifting your awareness, which is what astral projection entails.
