socks and chakras

anybody knows if wearing socks has any negative effect on chakras?

I've never heard of that personally, but you could always experiment and see if it impacts your results?

Not a negative effect but they will somewhat interfere with the flow of energy so if you are doing grounding exercises it would be best with shoes and socks off so you have direct connection with the earth for example. Same with tantric exercises are best with clothes off and many wiccan rituals are best performed sky clad (naked). But on a general day to day basis it has no ill effect so no need to go barefoot all the time.

Physical things affect chakras all the time. If you have a physical illness or injury it will affect your aura and your chakras. Socks will have a very minor effect and more on the flow of energy in or out than on the chakra itself.

As long as they're not too tight they won't have much of an effect at all (it might even be a good thing if your feet would otherwise be cold and tense), but certainly like dryad said it can be beneficial to take them off if you're working on grounding or other things. Loose clothing in general is always better than tight, particularly at the waist and neck. The more comfortable and relaxed you are the easier it is for internal energy to flow

I don't know, but my guess is that just typing this question in front of your laptop or using iphone or whatever causes more effect on chakras than any type of clothes. Tight clothes, bras etc do have a negative effect on meridians (energy flow). Lol, best for energy system would be to go naked in the woods (and not get cold) :)
