The movie may have been a great drama, and
the personas, that is the actors may be very convincing at portraying emotions.
However it is the watcher who may or may not be emotionally engaged.
If one cannot relate to the motion picture, then regardless of the claim,
"packed with human emotions!"
the viewer's response could be, emotionally lack. (rhyming here

TIME is an experiential phenomena.
Depending on how you sequence the picture frames, the cycling of the frames yield the progression of the story/ play.
Change the costume, props and plot,
you change the perception of Time Period, Themes, Location.
MOTION PICTURE FRAME SEQUENCING - TIME
Most movies follow a chronological sequence.
Some movies and dreams feature more of a fragmented format, with flash backs and not in chronological order,
such as the movie,
Cloud Atlas.
If you experience dream realities where the physical rule sets of Earth are absent or mitigated,
where you can fly at will, alter the mindscape (the dream landscape) or your body-vehicle
-this is a reflection of how lucid you are in the dream.
The more lucid and liberated you feel, the more influence you have in being the director of your dreams.
You can have lighter experiences, zoom in or zoom out of the scene with your intention, or experience in your own WONDERland.
