Sometimes this room is solid
The walls as thick as the bricks
That made them
Color all one
Echo of nothing other
All is
As is
And my whole world
Is gone
I sit here
In the mess of my world
With real dishes
Real stains
Real appointments to be
Met
And missed.
And it's all one-dimension
It is all uni-colored
Not even black and white
The VRshow put an iron cast
Around me
No cracks in the illusion
No buttons, they're gone
Just 'reality' gleefully in my face
I hear nothing, I hear none of you
I'm in the shu.

As the colors cry
A painful contrast
To the naked
Senses of trees in the
Autumn sky
I lie
And you with me.
And our spider fingers
Reach across the heavens,
No shape or game
Or friction or structure
If we were one
Just now.
So with the shrillest
Laughter of red
I gleam, here, in the setting
Sun.

Is again and ever was, and wasn't
So while all is clear and mudded
And all is free and tangled up
Rest you cheek on my chest
While I calmly hold your space and frantically
Struggle in mine,
In your hand I lay mine all at peace
Giving and receiving both connected
And your curly fried 3D thoughts dance, too.

Two howling hounds
At bay

Knights draw blanks
